This morning's project: Holly Golightly

Holly Golightly is one of my favourite characters, both in print and on film. She is so extravagant and full of life and has an air about her that makes you want to know all you can about her. Last night, I decided I wanted to illustrate all of Holly's outfits and then line them all up into one illustration. I made this very rough sketch of how it could look.



I started doing proper sketches this morning. I look at several clips as references for each outfit, trying to get the detail of the clothes as best as possible. These are the ones I have so far:

This afternoon, I will hopefully create at least one of the sketches into a watercolour illustration. It's been really lovely filling my morning with drawing, tea, and Holly!
